"Meltdown" by Mike Chinoy
This evening we gathered for an intimate event of the Los Angeles World Affairs Council. The speaker was Mr. Mike Chinoy, and his topic was North Korea and its nuclear/diplomatic crisis. Mike Chinoy is a fellow/expert at the Pacific Council and a former bureau chief for CNN in Beijing, Hong Kong, etc. So . . . he kind of knows his East Asian affairs!
Fulbright
My application for the Fulbright Fellowship has been consuming a lot of my free time lately. Applying is a fun project, but knowing that my topic is controversial and politically sensitive means that I must not get my hopes up TOO high . . . But I am excited anyway. More on this to come . . .
